That day Mani and Mona were the guests of Sina and Nina.
"Bogymen do exist!" Mona said to Nina.
"They hide in dark places and they suddenly come out and frighten children."
Mani and Sina were talking with each other. Mani said to Sina:" Mona is so afraid of bogymen. Someone has told her that he has seen a bogyman! Suppose if Mona herself sees one, what will happen?"
" But she will never see a bogyman!" said Sina. "Because THEY DO NOT EXIST!"
Mani giggled and said:" We are not sure though."
Up to night, the children did nothing but playing.
Mona talked about bogymen even while playing .She brought her head out of their little toy house and kept changing her voice and saying:
"I'M…A…BOGYMAN…!I'M… A…BOGYMAN…!"
Nina tried to convince her that she was not right, but she didn't accept.
At night, Mona went to the next room. She came back quickly looking so frightened.
"I…………..
h…a…v…e……………
s…e…e…n……………
a ……………
b…o…g…y…m…a…n…………… !"
She stammered.
Sina and Nina went out of the room to see what was going on.
When they looked into that dark room, they saw something. Turning on the light, they learned who frightened Mona was no one but Mani.
Mani had put a coat on his head which belonged to the daddy of Sina and Nina. He had stood in the middle of the room to frighten Mona.
